A Year of Growth and Innovation: @properties Christie’s International Real Estate’s 2023 In Review

Following an exciting 2023 that included national and international expansion, the launch of new technologies, and recognition from some of the real estate industry’s most respected news outlets, @properties Christie’s International Real Estate is setting its sights on an even more successful 2024. Before we embark on another year of delivering unparalleled service to homebuyers and sellers, here’s a look back at some of our highlights from the past year.

 

Global Growth

Following @properties’ acquisition of Christie’s International Real Estate in 2021, the combined brands, which marry the best in local ownership, real estate technology and global luxury, have been in expansion mode culminating in a whirlwind 2023. As a result, @properties Christie’s International Real Estate agents and clients in Chicagoland, Indiana, Michigan and Wisconsin gained direct access to some of the best luxury firms in the world. Leading brokerages joined the Christie’s International Real Estate network in Austin, Texas, San Francisco, Boston, the Hamptons, London, Munich, Belgium, Puerto Rico, the Dominican Republic, Aruba, St. Martin, St. John, and other sought-after destinations. 2024 will see additional growth of the network.

Tech Tools that Raise the Bar

With pl@tform™, the industry’s first and best integrated real estate technology solution, @properties Christie’s International Real Estate made substantial strides in 2023 to empower agents and clients alike. The tech suite is continuously updated to respond to evolving agent and client needs. 2023 additions included a Digital Buyer Presentation, an interactive resource that educates potential buyers on an agent’s services, and an update to the Closing Milestones portal that now gives home sellers the same ability as buyers to track their transaction from contract to close.

Leading trade publication Inman recently gave pl@tform™ rave reviews, saying it “gives off the energy of a third-party enterprise tool’ that can ‘benefit all levels of agent who hangs a license at an @properties Christie’s International Real Estate office.”

And the Awards Goes To

In recognition of the brokerage’s industry-leading technology, @properties Christie’s International Real Estate was named to HousingWire’s Tech 100 list, a compilation of the industry’s most tech-forward and innovative companies. HousingWire also announced that Dana Bina, Chief Technology Officer at @properties, was recognized as a Tech Trendsetter driving progress in the housing industry.

@properties Christie’s International Real Estate was also named to the Inc. 5000 List – the most prestigious ranking of the nation’s fastest-growing private companies – for a remarkable 14th time. And in November, @properties Christie’s International Real Estate was named a Chicago Tribune Top Workplaces for the 11th consecutive year.

Top Sales of 2023

@properties Christie’s International Real Estate was also involved in a number of the year’s top Chicagoland sales:

Jena Radnay of the firm’s Winnetka office sold the area’s two most expensive homes of 2023, a pair of lakefront estates that closed for $12.5 million and $12.25 million. . In Naperville, @properties Christie’s International Real Estate agents Katie Minott and Kim Marino represented the most expensive home ever sold in DuPage County, a 15,000 square-foot mansion that closed in November for just over $8 million. And Suzanne Gignilliat was behind the most expensive single-family home sale in the city in 2023, a $10.65 million dollar mansion in Lincoln Park. All told, @properties Christie’s International Real Estate agents were involved in five of the top 10 local sales this year – more than any other brokerage firm.
